Every spring, NACD invites its members to join our staff in Washington, D.C., to promote the interests of conservation districts on Capitol Hill. The 2020 Spring Fly-In, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 25, has been cancelled, with participants encouraged to schedule virtual meetings with their legislators to advocate for conservation. 25th Annual Delaware ENVIROTHON- CANCELED

The April 23 event has been cancelled, in accordance with guidelines to address COVID-19. Delaware held its first State ENVIROTHON challenge in the Spring of 1996. Organizational plans for this environmental team building and educational experience began in 1994. Many private, state, and federal agencies and organizations work collectively to prepare advisor and student training workshops.

Soil Stewardship Week

NACD Stewardship Week is one of the largest national programs to promote natural resource conservation. Celebrated annually since 1955 between the last Sunday in April and the first Sunday in May, NACD Stewardship Week reminds us of our individual responsibilities to care for natural resources.
