SUMMARY:Cover Crops as Part of a Whole Farm Strategy
DESCRIPTION:Cover crops & soil health are often talked about as a standalone set of management principles\, related to but set apart from other aspects of crop production. In reality\, soil health management principles need to be integrated with a whole farm strategy that also addresses nutrients\, weeds\, pests and diseases\, drainage and irrigation\, markets\, etc. But how? \nSteve Groff\, the Cover Crop Coach\, along with a panel discussion among ag service providers\, will give farmers and technical advisors a framework to start thinking about their farm management in a holistic way.
